My dear friend, Katherine Briggs, is releasing her debut Young Adult Fantasy book this fall titled "The Eternity Gate" with Enclave Publishing and let me tell you...It is one to read! 

I had the honor of being a part of her launch team this year and helping with the promotion of this beautiful story. Being in Tennessee while she was in Texas made it a bit difficult to be a part of every aspect, but the parts I was involved in were so fun! Everyone should be a part of a book launch at some point.

The most exciting and fun part about it was participating in an advanced reader copy (ARC). There were many nights this summer when I stayed up a bit too late squeezing in another chapter. Beaming with pride seeing Katherine's dream come true getting to see the story unfold. 

So many times I would say to Brandon, "I cannot wait until the next book comes out!" and "I'm just so proud of Katie!" (Yes, this is volume 1 of a duology! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!) 

The world-building and the lore in this book are absolutely beautiful and strong. The threading of hope and redemption is also something to not ignore. I won't say too much because that defeats the purpose of going on this journey with Seyo (the epic lady) as she unfolds who stole the ancient key! 

Lately, my drink of choice for snuggles and reading has been a hot coffee with Califia almond milk creamer, it's so cozy and makes reading way more magical in my opinion.
