Life and Light in Jesus
Zion National Park, 2022 |
Friday was here. It is finished, He has died.
Jesus, blameless and holy, died so that you and I may be in relationship with God the Father.
The veil was torn.
This is how we can live in freedom.
Through the blood of Jesus, we have had our slates wiped clean.
This is sometimes so hard to accept. That Jesus, the Son of God, bled and died for us. Over time we have read those words and heard them often, "bled and died". With that, I became numb to those words in a way, yes they are heavy words and mean so much, but when you hear them over and over they become just words.
When they become just words, my heart is then growing dull.
May that never be the end result.
Take a moment to realize those words: bled and died. How truly horrible those words are and what they entail.
Jesus did that for you, so that you may live.
Then we wake up, it's Saturday morning, the day when there was no hope. The Messiah had died. God was silent. There were no answers.
Don’t be dismayed.
A new dawn is coming.
A new day.
A day where hope is resurrected.
Sunday! Jesus is alive! He lives! Hallelujah!
There is hope, a beautiful hope, an unrelenting hope, and it’s found in Jesus. You have been called to live. To live in the light of the resurrection and the promise of inheritance. The inheritance of being a beloved child of God.
The claimed child of God, who is painted in the sanctified blood of Jesus Christ.
Choose Him, believe in Him, and believe that you are saved by grace.
Jesus is your savior and you can have eternal life through Him.
He has Risen! Hallelujah!
